DIRECTIONS AND PARKING FOR THE CHARDONNAY SYMPOSIUM
Friday Sierra Madre Vineyard Tour and 40th Anniversary Barbecue, 2570 Prell Road, Santa Maria:
Go EAST on Betteravia Road from US101 (LEFT from the freeway if traveling south, RIGHT if traveling north). Travel 1.9 miles.
Turn RIGHT on Telephone Road. Travel 0.5 miles.
Take the 1st LEFT onto Prell Road. (If you reach Cambridge Way on your right, you’ve gone too far.)
Travel 1.2 miles to 2570 Prell Road and follow the signs through the Sierra Madre gates.
On Saturday, park for the day and let us do the driving!
Both Full Day and Grand Chardonnay Tasting reservations include transportation to and from the CalPortland Aggregate Plant parking lot directly across from Bien Nacido Vineyards at 4680 Santa Maria Mesa Road, Santa Maria, CA 93454. Bus transportation to the morning panel sessions begins at 9:00 am. Afternoon Grand Chardonnay Tasting transportation begins at the CalPortland parking lot at 1:30. A single lane driveway leads to Byron Winery where parking is limited and only pre-paid VIP parking is allowed on site. We highly encourage guests to hire a transportation company to transport you between your hotel or house and the CalPortland parking lot so that you can safely travel to and from the event. All Saturday Event Guests Park at the CalPortland Aggregate Plant, 4680 Santa Maria Mesa Road:
Go EAST on Betteravia Road from US101 (LEFT from the freeway if traveling south, RIGHT if traveling north).
After 2.4 miles, Betteravia Road becomes Foxen Canyon Road. Continue for 4.7 miles.
When the road comes to a V – Veer LEFT onto Santa Maria Mesa Road. (To the right is the continuation of Foxen Canyon Road)
Travel 0.8 miles to 4680 Santa Maria Mesa Road, on your RIGHT.
Buses will get you to the morning panel sessions, the lunch and the Grand Chardonnay Tasting, and will return you to the CalPortland Parking lot at 5:00.
Pre-paid VIP Parking for the Grand Chardonnay Tasting ONLY
Byron Winery, 5250 Tepusquet Road:
Go EAST on Betteravia Road from US101 (LEFT from the freeway if traveling south, RIGHT if traveling north).
After 2.4 miles, Betteravia Road becomes Foxen Canyon Road. Continue for 4.7 miles.
When the road comes to a V – Veer LEFT onto Santa Maria Mesa Road. (To the right is the continuation of Foxen Canyon Road)
Travel for 4.4 miles. At the stop sign at the bottom of the hill, Santa Maria Mesa Road becomes Tepusquet Road (or Tepusquet Canyon Road with some GPS’s).
Go Straight and continue for 0.4 miles.
Turn RIGHT into the driveway at 5250 Tepusquet Road and follow the signs to VIP Parking. You will need to post your pre-printed VIP PARKING sign on your dash.
